Koreez Mathematics is an engaging competition, designed for students in grades 3-12 and college students, encompasses both online and offline stages.

How to register?

To participate in Koreez you need to:

  1. Register in the relevant section of koreez.am website,
  2. Attach a photo, fill in first name, last name, patronym, phone number, school, class, E-mail address,
  3. Confirm the email address by entering the six-digit code sent in the appropriate field,
  4. Enter and confirm the page password.

In case of forgetting the password, it can be restored with the help of the 'I forgot my password' button, after which you will receive a link to change the password to the registered email. Before registering, you need to familiarize yourself with the privacy policy and terms of use and agree to them. It is mandatory that the data and photo are real, as they will not be subject to change in the future. After entering your data, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address.
Attention: Last year's registrations were zeroed, in order to participate in Koreez 2024, you need to register again. It is only possible to participate in each round on the aforementioned day on the website, in the time period of 10:30 to 19:00.


How to pay?

At the time of registration, or after registration, before the start of the competition - May 11, you need to make a payment via Telcell payment terminals or Telcell Wallet.
In case of registration, but in case of not making the payment within the mentioned period, the participant will not be able to participate in the competition.
The participation fee for the competition is:

  • January 24 - February 19 - 1500 AMD
  • February 20 - April 3 - 2500 AMD
  • April 4 - April 11 - 4000 AMD

How to participate?

When participating in the competition, you must log in to www.koreez.am on the pre-announced day with the pre-registered username and password through one of the following digital devices: phone, computer, tablet. When accessing from a computer, the browser of the computer must be equal to or higher than the specified options: Chrome> = 45, Firefox> = 38, Edge> = 12, Explorer> = 10, Safari> = 9, Opera> = 30, and when accessed by phone or tablet, it is necessary for the operating system to be equal to or higher than the mentioned versions (iOS> = 9, Android> = 4.4). After entering, it is necessary to answer the test-questionnaire within the given time period.
Only one digital device should be logged in with the account with the same username and password, otherwise communication failures are possible, and later the results of the contest will be invalid. If you have technical problems while completing the questionnaire on the computer, you can log in by phone and continue your participation.


Rules of conduct

During the competition, you need to be alone in the room (in case of impossibility, those in the room should not help the student) to focus on solving tasks, to maintain the principle of fairness and honesty.
In case of serious violations of the rules during the competition or during the verification of its results, the organizers have the right to remove the participant from the list, cancel his/her results, and make a corresponding correction in the list of participants. In the event of significant rule violations during the competition or result verification, organizers retain the right to request a participant’s reevaluation. This may involve a retest either offline or online (via Zoom). For online retakes, participants must have their camera and microphone activated to uphold the principle of integrity. Should a participant decline to retake the test, organizers reserve the right to remove them from the list, nullify their results, and make appropriate corrections to the participant roster.

Pre-election stage

  1. The registered participant must log in to koreez.am with their username and password during the pre-election phase.
  2. Each participant must answer 20 questions.
  3. Participants will be given 60 minutes to answer the questions.
  4. The questionnaire consists of questions of three levels of complexity with the corresponding number of points: simple (1 point), medium (2 points), complex (3 points).
  5. Each participant will receive questions randomly from a large database of questions. The proportion of questions with degrees of difficulty is the same for all students.
  6. If a participant doesn’t know the answer to a question, they can skip the question.
  7. Participants can go back to missed questions at any time while filling out the questionnaire.
  8. If time runs out, answers will be automatically accepted and saved.
  9. The works of the participants are checked, and the results are calculated using a special computer program. The summary of the results of the work takes up to 5 days after the end of the tender.
  10. After summarizing the results of the pre-election round, a summary of the participant’s points earned, correct and incorrect answers to the questions, and additional analytical data will be sent to the participant’s email address. The participant’s page will also show the ranking of the leaders and the participant’s position according to the points earned. Participants who rank 1st-10th in each age group according to the results of the pre-election stage can participate in the final stage.
  11. The basis for the sequence of the data publication list is the leaderboard, which is compiled taking into account the time spent by the participant to answer.
  12. Within 48 hours after the publication of the results of the pre-election round, the participant has the right to appeal their results, necessarily specifying a reliable source or basis for the appeal.
  13. In case of appealing the results obtained after the end of the pre-election stage, the participant must have clear evidence of the reliability of their results and submit an application by email to [email protected], attaching the evidence they have.
  14. After considering the application, the answer is sent to the participant electronically within 15 days after receiving the application. If necessary, the organizers of the competition may contact the participant to make clarifications. If, as a result of the discussion, any problem is revealed that could affect the results of the competition, then the corresponding correction is made and all participants of the competition are informed about it; otherwise, the results remain the same.
  15. All participants of the pre-election stage will receive online certificates of participation in the Koreez competition.

Final round

  1. The participants who ranked 1-10 in each age group according to the results of the pre-election round can participate in the final round.
  2. The final round is offline and is held at the Artashes Shahinyan Special School of Physics and Mathematics attached to Yerevan State University (address: Yerevan, Azatutyan Ave. 2nd lane, 9 building).
  3. In the final stage, each of the participants must answer 15 questions.
  4. Participants will be given 90 minutes to answer the questions.
  5. The questionnaire consists of questions of three degrees of complexity with the corresponding number of points: simple (1 point), medium (2 points), complex (3 points).
  6. Medium and difficult types of questions will prevail in the final stage.
  7. All participants of the final stage will receive certificates of participation in the competition, and the winners will be awarded with prizes and gifts.

Award Ceremony

  1. The names of the winners of the competition are announced on the day of the final stage of the competition, during the award ceremony.
  2. In each age group (grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12), the 1st place winner will receive a laptop and/or other prizes, the 2nd place winner will receive a tablet and/or other prizes, the 3rd place winner will receive wireless earbuds and/or other prizes.
  3. In the final stage of the competition, participants who ranked 4th to 10th in each age group will be awarded incentive prizes. All participants of the final round will receive certificates.
  4. Participants who showed the best results in the final stage of the competition will receive the privilege of admission to the Artashes Shahinyan Special Physics and Mathematics School under Yerevan State University.
  5. As a result of the competition, 100 participants will be awarded valuable gifts and prizes.
