Կանոններ

Koreez is an online intellectual challenge based on uniquely selected subject programs, which is open to students from grades 3-12 in all public and private schools in the Republic Armenia.

Koreez is held online, consisting of two rounds and awards.

The questions of the competition are from the following subjects:

  • 3th-4th grade: Native Language, Mathematics, General logic.
  • 5th-6th grade: Native Language, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, General logic.
  • 7th-12th grade: Armenian language and literature, Geography, History (Armenian history and World history), Algebra - Geometry, Natural Sciences (physics, chemistry, biology), General logic.

How to register?

To participate in Koreez you need to:

  1. Register in the relevant section of koreez.am website,
  2. Attach a photo, fill in first name, last name, patronym, phone number, school, class, E-mail address,
  3. Confirm the email address by entering the six-digit code sent in the appropriate field,
  4. Enter and confirm the page password.

In case of forgetting the password, it can be restored with the help of the 'I forgot my password' button, after which you will receive a link to change the password to the registered email. Before registering, you need to familiarize yourself with the privacy policy and terms of use and agree to them. It is mandatory that the data and photo are real, as they will not be subject to change in the future. After entering your data, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address.

Ուշադրություն․ նախորդ տարվա գրանցումները զրոյացվել են, Koreez 2025-ին մասնակցելու համար անհրաժեշտ է նորից գրանցվել։ Յուրաքանչյուր փուլին մասնակցել հնարավոր կլինի միայն կայքում նախապես նշված օրը՝ ժամը 10։30-19:00-ն ընկած ժամանակահատվածում։


How to pay?

At the time of registration, or after registration, before the start of the competition - April 18, you need to make a payment via Telcell payment terminals or Telcell Wallet.
In case of registration, but in case of not making the payment within the mentioned period, the participant will not be able to participate in the competition.

How to participate?

When participating in the competition, you must log in to www.koreez.am on the pre-announced day with the pre-registered username and password through one of the following digital devices: phone, computer, tablet. When accessing from a computer, the browser of the computer must be equal to or higher than the specified options: Chrome> = 45, Firefox> = 38, Edge> = 12, Explorer> = 10, Safari> = 9, Opera> = 30, and when accessed by phone or tablet, it is necessary for the operating system to be equal to or higher than the mentioned versions (iOS> = 9, Android> = 4.4). After entering, it is necessary to answer the test-questionnaire within the given time period.
Only one digital device should be logged in with the account with the same username and password, otherwise communication failures are possible, and later the results of the contest will be invalid. If you have technical problems while completing the questionnaire on the computer, you can log in by phone and continue your participation.


Rules of conduct

During the competition, you need to be alone in the room (in case of impossibility, those in the room should not help the student) to focus on solving tasks, to maintain the principle of fairness and honesty.
In case of serious violations of the rules during the competition or during the verification of its results, the organizers have the right to remove the participant from the list, cancel his/her results, and make a corresponding correction in the list of participants.

Pre-election Round

  1. The registered participant in the pre-election stage must log in to www.koreez.am with their username and password.
  2. Each participant must answer all 30 questions.
  3. Participants will be given 40 minutes to answer the questions.
  4. The questionnaire consists of questions of 3 levels of difficulty with the appropriate number of points: simple (1 point), medium (2 points), complex (3 points).
  5. Each participant will receive random questions from a large database of questions - the proportion of questions in the degree of difficulty is the same for all students.
  6. If you do not know the answer to the question, you can skip the question.
  7. You can return to the skipped question at any time while completing the questionnaire.
  8. In case of time consumption, the answers will be accepted automatically and will be saved.
  9. Participants' work is checked and the results are calculated using a special computer program. The results of the tests are summarized within 5 days after the end of the competition.
  10. After summarizing the results of the pre-election stage, the participant will receive the summary through their provided email address along with the points earned by the participant, the right and wrong answers to the questions, and additional analytical data. The participant will see the leaderboard in their account and their position on the leaderboard according to the points earned.
  11. The participants who have passed the minimum passing threshold will pass to the next round. The minimum threshold is:
    • 26 points for 3-4 grades
    • 26 points for 5-6 grades
    • 30 points for 7-12 grades
  12. The order of the data publication list is based on the leaderboard, which is made up considering the time spent by the participant to respond.
  13. Within 48 hours after the publication of the results of the pre-election round, the participant has the right to appeal his/her results, indicating a reliable source or basis for the appeal.
  14. In case of appealing the results after the end of the pre-election round, the participant must have clear evidence of the reliability of his/her results and submit an e-mail application to [email protected] attaching the evidence he/she has.
  15. After reviewing the application, the answer is sent to the participant electronically within 15 days after receiving the application. If necessary, the competition organizers can contact the participant to make inquiries. If as a result of the discussion any problem is revealed that could have affected the results of the competition, the corresponding correction is made, all the participants of the competition are informed, otherwise the results remain the same.
  16. All participants in the pre-election round will receive online certificates of participation in the Koreez contest.

Final stage

  1. The participants who have passed the passing threshold of the pre-stage can take part in the final round.
  2. The registered participant in the final round must log in to www.koreez.am with the same username and password.
  3. In the final round, each of the participants must answer 30 questions.
  4. Participants will be given 40 minutes to answer the questions.
  5. The questionnaire consists of questions of three levels of difficulty with the appropriate number of points: simple (1 point), medium (2 points), complex (3 points).
  6. In the final stage, medium and complex types of questions will prevail.
  7. If you do not know the answer to the question, you can skip the question.
  8. You can return to the skipped question at any time while completing the questionnaire.
  9. In case of time consumption, the answers will be accepted automatically and will be saved.
  10. Participants' final round results are checked and calculated using a special computer program. The results of the challenge are summarized within 5 days after the end of the competition.
  11. After summarizing the results of the final round, the participant will receive the summary to the provided email address along with the points earned by the participant, the right and wrong answers to the questions, and additional analytical data. The participant will see the leaderboard in their account and their position on the leaderboard according to the points earned.
  12. In case of receiving equal points, the speed of which the participant completed the questionnaire will be calculated.
  13. The winners of the competition will be the participants who have earned the most points from each age group (grades 5-12).
  14. The names of the final winners of the competition will be announced during the awards ceremony.
  15. Within 48 hours after the publication of the results of the final round, the participant has the right to appeal his/her results, indicating a reliable source or basis for the appeal.
  16. All participants of the final round will receive certificates of participation in the competition and the winners will be awarded with valuable prizes and gifts.

Awards ceremony

  1. The names of the winners of the competition will be announced during the awards ceremony (the exact place and time of the award will be published on www.koreez.am).
  2. In each age group (3th, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th grade) the first place winner will be awarded with a laptop and/or other gifts, the second place winner will be awarded with a tablet and/or other gifts, the third place winner will be rewarded with a mobile phone and/or other gifts.
  3. In the final round of the competition, the participants in 4th to 10th place in each age group will be awarded with incentive prizes. All participants of the final round will receive certificates.
  4. As a result of the final round of the competition, the participant who has earned maximum points in the shortest time in all age groups will receive a 3-day vacation to one of the best hotels in Tsakhkadzor.
  5. As a result of the competition, 80 participants will be awarded with valuable gifts and prizes.
